I will be participating in this year’s Star Glaze mid-winter ceramics festival, organised by the Ōtaki Pottery club. This event celebrates Matariki and is an indoor market event involving about 70 potters.

My corner will be showcasing some of my coil-built Amazing Amazons, birds and waka. As a contrast, I will also have my tiny “houses” built out of paper-thin sheets of casting slip. Made during lockdown, they embody the feeling of isolation.
