Over Anzac weekend I will be taking part in the Art Shows Across Aotearoa in Christchurch. It will be quite a challenge to take my work down, and I’m hoping the car will be a bit lighter on the way back!
I will be showcasing some of my Amazing Amazons- strong resilient women, and my flock of birds. All coiled with a groggy clay and mostly fired in reduction with a copper glaze. Guaranteed to be anatomically incorrect! These are all suitable for inside or outdoor display.
Also featured will be my waka, a form I have returned to after about a ten-year gap.
