Featuring work by 23 women artists from the Wellington region across many different media, I am thrilled to have a few pieces selected for this exhibition.
Not my usual work, these little “dwellings” were made during, and as a response to the lockdown, while pondering the effects of not being able to go out.
They are constructed of paper thin sheets of casting slip and extremely fragile before firing.
Opening at the Mitchell Studios in Khandallah on the 28th July, this exhibition will go till 29th August 2020. A percentage of the sales profits will go to the Women’s Refuge.
