I’m delighted to be exhibiting in In Good Company, a special group exhibition at Ashe Gallery celebrating Art, Artists & Community as part of One Year of Ashe.

Bringing together more than 20 Ashe artists, In Good Company is a celebration of the creative community that continues to grow in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

I’m proud to be exhibiting alongside a talented group of artists.

My work, Erinyes, is a Bird Woman.  Thought the Furies in Greek mythology had bird wings rather than a bird head, this is my slant.

My interpretation is that the macho world feels threatened by mentally powerful women and therefore see her as ugly or evil
